Hix Keys will be sadly missed!

Hix Keys, a charter member of the Fellowship Of Christian Hunters, passed away on January 26, 2001 after a brief illness. Hix was a dedicated Christian that lived a life of love for his family, friends, church, and Savior. Hix enjoyed a healthy 81 years, which included active involvement in God’s great outdoors, especially deer and turkey hunting. Hix was awarded the “Christian Hunter’s Legend” award at the Fellowship Of Christian Hunters Wild Game Supper and Whitetail Awards Banquet in February 2000. In the year 2000, Hix harvested a beautiful 6-point buck by means of a Cross-Bow. Yes.... Hix was still climbing a treestand at age 80!

Hix has now climbed to the ultimate height. I’m sure he is rejoicing in the presence of the Omnipotent Creator and heavens beauty! Surely, heaven is just a little sweeter with the addition of our dear friend Hix Keys.
